Annual Credit Report
My husband and I are working on improving our credit scores as much as possible, as we would like to buy a home next year. As always the first step in this process is to pull our credit reports, simple enough right. For me this is true, for my husband this is proving to be more difficult.
First you should know that he has never pulled his free report. We have gone to annualcreditreport.com (multiple times) and requested reports from each of the companies (multiple times). Each time we get a response like “We were unable to process your request” or “We cannot provide your free annual report online.”
I have searched FAQ pages and cannot find an answer for this. I have called Experian and annualcreditreport.com and cannot get a real person so that i may ask the question.
Please tell me you have an answer on why we cannot pull his free credit report online.

Hi Carly,
Don’t feel bad. The first time I obtained my report from annualcreditreport.com I answered one of the multiple choice questions wrong. I don’t remember the question other than it was ambiguous. So, instead of obtaining my Equifax bureau online through the Annual Credit Report site, I had to print the form out and mail it in.
I’d recommend you have your husband do the same. They’ll snail mail the reports back in a week or so.
