Good Afternoon Paul,
 
I saw your site and watched the video.  I have always maintained good credit up until the sell of my home.  At the point of sell, the process took longer than expected and the mortgage wasn’t paid for 2 months.  Since then the mortgage has been paid off.  Also I had a second on the home.  At the close of the sell I owed $2400 more which was to be transferred into a personal loan.  Unfortunately this never happened.  Due to moves zigzaging across the US for work, the loan went unpaid for 3 months.  The loan has been paid in full ahead of schedule.  However, the damage has been done.  I have contacted the CRA to add notes of the circumstances along with contacting the loan companies about changing the negative to paid in full.  Neither has happened.  From my understanding of all I have read, I am up a creek for the next 7 years. Am I correct?

I just watched the seminar.  Great info!  I had a question about the joint cardholder.  I want to raise my score and I have a relative that will allow me to be a joint card holder.  Do I actually need to use the second card in order to reap the benefits of better credit?  I do not want to put her credit at risk.  I know that the authorized user is no longer an option.  How is the joint card holder different?  I appreciate your help.
