Dealing With Creditor or Collection Agency?
I must say, your sight has been the best, I disputed things on my credit report and have had 3 items removed at this point. I am still working on the car issue, I tried to deal with the original lender they have informed me it is to late, I have to go through the collection agency, could you please give me examples on getting the original lender to deal with me instead. Thank You, Vanessa

Greetings Vanessa,
Great news on your three deletes! I’ll assume the deleted items were not reporting accurately on your credit report. Now, as for dealing with the original lender…
If the original creditor is reporting a zero balance then you are most likely dealing with a junk debt buyer. If that’s the case then you will probably not be able to have the account sent back to the original creditor.
If the original creditor is reporting a balance owed, then you are most likely dealing with a collection agency. You may request validation of the debt per FDCPA and the end result might be that the account is sent back to the original creditor. As discussed previously, there is also the real danger that such a request may result in a summons to appear in court. Either way, the choice is yours.
Save, save, save, and then you can be in a position to negotiate this debt.
It sounds like your credit score is on the rise.
Paul
