Florida Foreclosures
According to RealtyTrac’s February 2007 report, Florida now leads the nation in foreclosure filings. A total of 19,144 properties were in some stage of foreclosure in Florida last month and that’s a 63.5% increase from January 2007.
Overall for our nation, U.S. foreclosures jumped 12% year over year and more than 130,000 homes entered foreclosure last month.
