Foreclosure Backlog

Talking about Foreclosure, You have suggested to call a HUD program. I have called everyday this week and still no call back, I spoke to a young woman and she took my name and # and said that someone would get to me shortly(by end of day) that was Monday and still nothing it is Thur evening. So what would be my next choice?

Hello Lou,

In the How To Avoid Foreclosure seminar which was completed by yours truly two years ago, I recommend contacting a HUD approved counselor, an attorney, and your lender.  That’s still valid advice to this day, although the foreclosure problem is much worse now.  You basically need to know what to ask for before you contact your lender and not rely on the servicing lender’s personnel.

What in particular are you trying to accomplish and what is your situation?  If you type a more detailed question then I will do my best to get to it this weekend.  I have a backlog of Stump The Experts questions to answer, so Lord willing I’ll be working double-time this weekend.
