I had ALL COLLECTIONS REMOVED entirely!

I have enclosed a letter from one of the collection agencies. This was removed as I disputed the fact that I had moved and never received their first notice, second notice, third notice, etc. They did not even have the right address for me, so I disputed that also. I then asked them to send me a copy of the original bill. (it was valid) and I agreed to pay the amount if they would remove it from the bureaus. The amount by the way was $68.

The second collection that I had was about 3 years old and was for $774. I called the company and asked them if they would settle for half of the collection and remove it from my bureau and they said no. I then asked them to send me a copy of the bill. They did and when I called them, I made them an offer to pay the amount in full if and only if they would REMOVE the collection from the bureaus. (GET THIS IN WRITING) They agreed and I paid it and they removed it. IMPORTANT NOTE: Not all collection companies will remove the collection. Some will just put “paid” on your bureau. If this is the case, it is highly recommended to settle for a lower amount 30-50% rather than pay in full. I now have this in my collections area: “No collections exist in this area.” Once these 2 collections were removed from my bureau, my credit scored jumped almost 100 points. That is not an exaggeration.
