Satisfy Thy Judgment

I listened to your seminar.

I have both credit card and hospital bills that went delinquent then to collections and one judgement.

I have the funds to pay card and bills completely OR judgement.

Which one whould help my credit score most? Thank You.

Mike

Hello Mike,

The judgment should be paid first.  I would recommend that you call the judgment creditor and attempt to negotiate the credit reporting prior to paying the judgment.  The judgment will be listed in public records as satisfied, but the original creditor’s tradeline could be deleted altogether.

Thanks for the questions and hope this helps.

Paul
