CAN YOU DO A SHORT SALE WITH OUT DAMAGING YOUR CREDIT?  I AM NOT LATE ON MY MORTGAGE AND MY MORTGAGE COMPANY SAYS I CAN DO A SHORT SALE AND IT WILL NOT BE REPORTED NEGATIVELY ON MY CREDIT IS THIS TRUE?
